National Treasury has issued a new tender for a structured debt adviser to strengthen and modernise the RSA Retail Bonds programme, inviting qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposals by June 13.

The selected adviser will provide expert support in evaluating and recommending a structure design and solution architecture for the RSA Retail Bonds Programme.

Treasury aims to enhance public accessibility to RSA Retail Bonds as part of its broader digitalisation agenda and enable South Africans to invest and secure market-related returns in a safe and transparent manner.

Prospective bidders must be registered and compliant on the Central Supplier Database and submit information according to a prescribed template at www.etenders.gov.za.

RSA Retail Bonds offer fixed-rate, inflation-linked and savings top-up bonds for all South Africans over 18 years who have a bank account with a financial institution in the country.
